ന്യൂദല്‍ഹി: സോഷ്യല്‍ മീഡിയ ഭീകര ശൃംഖലകളുടെ ടൂള്‍കിറ്റായി മാറുന്നുവെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രി എസ്. ജയശങ്കര്‍. യു.എന്‍ സെക്യൂരിറ്റി കൗണ്‍സിലിന്റെ ഭീകരവിരുദ്ധ സമിതിയുടെ(സി.ടി.സി) പ്രത്യേക യോഗത്തില്‍ സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.
‘സോഷ്യല്‍ മീഡിയ പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമുകള്‍ തീവ്രവാദ ശൃംഖലകളുടെ ടൂള്‍കിറ്റിലെ ശക്തമായ ഉപകരണങ്ങളായി മാറി.
തീവ്രവാദ വിരുദ്ധ യു.എന്‍ ട്രസ്റ്റ് ഫണ്ടിലേക്ക് ഈ വര്‍ഷം ഇന്ത്യ അര മില്യണ്‍ ഡോളര്‍ സംഭാവന ചെയ്യും,’
എസ്. ജയശങ്കര്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.
15 അംഗ രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ പ്രതിനിധികള്‍ മുംബൈയിലെ ആദ്യ ദിവസത്തെ പരിപാടികള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം ശനിയാഴ്ച ദല്‍ഹിയില്‍ നടന്ന സമാപന സെഷനിലും പങ്കെടുത്തു.
